Now, the Phylon forefoot acts a completely different role. It’s not going to feel like BOOST or full-length ZOOM Air, but it’s pretty solid nevertheless and I really enjoyed that. The heel department has really nice impact protection for enjoyable landings as well as quite a bit of bounciness. But I understand what Under Armour is trying to make and that’s a well-balanced setup to accommodate any type of player. Of course, we’re all waiting for that full-length MicoG finally making a comeback. Now the whole heel area is featuring MicroG, so you already know that this is going to be a perfect cushion setup for bigger players. The MicroG is back again, but this time not as a weak ass layer which was hard to feel on the UA Clutch Fit Drive 3. It really gets the job done by providing comfort for your ankles and letting your forefoot move freely, and obtain that enjoyable transition. Also, as usual, there’s a huge Fuse overlay for additional durability which has 3M hits to look gorgeous when the light hits. The soft Mesh material covers the toe & external forefoot areas, while the inner side of the forefoot and that ankle collar are rocking Neoprene. What can I say? Maybe it’s a cheaper setup, maybe it does look cheap, but damn, it feels good and I’m totally not mad at Under Armour making this decision. Now they’re using that well known, budget like material combo – textile mesh & neoprene. So the UA Drive 4 doesn’t feature ClutchFit upper and that’s a little bit of a bummer because it performed perfectly on past models. So without further ado, let‘s dive into the UNDER ARMOUR DRIVE 4 review! MAIN SPECSīEST PLACE TO BUY: FINISH LINE (HUGE SALE!) | AMAZON And this is a really huge reason why I’m lately catching myself throwing Under Urmour hoop shoes in my go to rotation. To be completely honest with you, I‘m now always get pumped for all upcoming UA basketball models because of that consistency this brand offers every single time. That‘s why they‘re not featuring „CLUTCH FIT“in the name. This is the 4th generation sneaker, but this time without Clutch fit upper which was featured in all past models. So the Clutch Fit Drive family has gone quite a long road already.
